“Lunch and Learn” about daffodils at the American Daffodil Society Fall Forum in Lynchburg, VA, Saturday, October 26, 2019.

The American Daffodil Society is holding its annual fall meeting in Lynchburg, VA, this year. Included in the plans is a Lunch and Learn Symposium of interest to all GCV members. The theme of this “Small Symposium” is that everyone has room for daffodils, no matter how large or small your space. The lunch will be followed by a demonstration by Brent Heath about planting bulbs in pots and talks by expert daffodil growers from across the country about using small spaces, growing miniature daffodils, and growing in pots.

The meeting location is the Hilton Garden Inn Lynchburg, 4025 Wards Road, Lynchburg, VA. Preregistration by October 1 is required. Arrive from 11:00 am -12:30 pm to see the fall-blooming daffodil show and photography show. Lunch will be at 12:30 followed by program until 4:00 pm. Registration is $40.
