Host
Virginia Conservation Network
GCV has a long history of advocating for conservation and beautification issues in the commonwealth.
Every year, a delegation of conservation-minded members of Garden Club of Virginia head to Richmond, join with fellow conservationists, and advocate at the Virginia General Assembly on GCV conservation issues.
This year we hope you’ll join us at the Kent-Valentine House on Tuesday, Feb. 3, the night before Conservation Legislative Day, for a catered dinner to connect with GCV friends to get inspired, informed, and to strategize before we head out for our meetings the next morning. On Wednesday morning, Feb. 4, we will join the larger Virginia Conservation Network at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, as we have done in the past, before walking together to the State Capitol to meet with our legislators.
Please register for either or both events here, and invite your fellow club members to join us on this important day! Please note on your registration if you would like transportation from Kent-Valentine House to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church on Wednesday morning, Feb 4.
We look forward to seeing you!
