Year-round and especially during the Virginia General Assembly, our 3,400+ civic leaders make our voices known to conserve the beauty of our natural resources. We speak up on issues that impact our native species, waters, mountains, cultural sites, and landscapes.
As an early advocate of protecting the environment, the Garden Club of Virginia has built a strong volunteer force of members to track legislation and recommend policy positions for our members to support, including those that address climate change and coastal resiliency, clean energy, conservation and protection of natural resources, preservation of historic viewsheds, and more.
