Nestled against the Chesapeake Bay, the Middlesex County Peninsula is located between the Rappahannock and Piankatank Rivers offering sweeping views along its 150-mile coastline. This tour features homes that both avid gardeners and historians will enjoy. Showcased properties include Cupalow, a 1867 farmhouse surrounded by well-loved gardens, and San Souci, a 1840 home filled with antiques. Providence was completed in 1760 and includes extensive gardens as well as a replica of an 18^th century trading sloop docked there. The tour ticket includes three other nearby properties which architecturally blend land and sea, for a total of six sites.
